The natural world is full of beauty. In this session we explore how young children can learn about living things while exploring elements of visual art and principles of design. This enables young children to focus on the process of creating or choose and begin to explore ways they can create beautiful items. 

Whether young children are exploring plants or animals, living things draw most children's attention unlike anything else.  In this session we explore the properties and characteristics of Living things and the habitats in which they are found and a wide range of developmentally appropriate activities that can be used to encourage children's learning.
