Deaf & Hard of Hearing

Research has consistently found that Children who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing are at risk for delays in social emotional development. In this workshop we explore strategies that support these children in learning the skills they need to keep up with their peers who are typically developing.

 

Children who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing frequently have additional challenges related to self regulation. In this workshop we learn about the principles of sensory processing and sensory modulation and strategies that can support children who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing within early education settings.
