In this 3 part series on Universal Design for Learning (UDL), we explore how to successfully create and implement lessons for young children that support the learning of all children. Through honoring the children's interests, knowledge and voices, educators can help all children become expert learners. By applying the principles of UDL and Developmentally Appropriate Practice learning can be a positive and fun experience for children and the adults who teach and care for them.
